Episode 49: Fool’s Gold
We start with a recap of the Cowboys statement win over the Patriots, who are no longer the feared team they once were. It was a Six Sundays weekend for the podcast as the Eagles defeated Washington in OT, with Matt and Chase having a fairly civil discussion before our resident Cowboys troll Will peaked out from under his bridge. We get into next week’s games and make our picks for what should be a great slate of football for the NFC East, with the Bears, Rams and 49ers all up this week. Finally, we get to the real reason you are here – a forlorn Brandon gives his assessment of the Giant’s past, present, and future. We try to uplift the mood at the end with a quick Matt’s facts, but folks – if you are a fan of the Giants, buckle up for this ride.
Episode 48: What Could Have Been
This week’s episode features two guests, as Matt and Brandon had last-second callouts. Cousin Gary and Nick Greco were able to fill the Eagles and Giants void with excelence. Greco and Chase break down the smackings both of their teams took from the 49er’s and Bills. Will reminisces on what the Cowboys’ defense could have been, if only they had Trevon Diggs, I guess we will never know. Cousin Gary fills us in on the Eagles’ defensive dismantling of the Buccaneers. As always the crew previews next week and ends with some Matt’s Facts (minus Matt). Enjoy! Be sure to leave a review if you like the show!
Episode 47: In Will’s Defense
In Will’s Defense Chase, Matt, Will, and Brandon break down the Week 2 action! Matt talks about the Eagle’s decisive victory over the Vikings and the guys question if they’re built for another championship run. Will comes in with multiple hot takes during the Cowboys onslaught of the Aaron Rodger-less Jets. Brandon breathes a sigh of relief and has optimism (yet again) for the Giant’s massive comeback win over the Cardinals. Chase touts the Commanders and their defense is legit in a comeback win over the Broncos. Week 3 picks are made with contention over one game in particular. And as always, Matt concludes the show with some facts. Make sure to like, subscribe, and share the show!
Episode 46: Metlife Madness
Chase, Matt, Will, Brandon, and recurring guest Cousin Drew break down the opening week of the NFL Season! The show opens with a close one in New England between the Eagles and the Patriots followed by an on-site review of the crowd at FedEx Field by Chase who was at the victory over the Cardinals. Brandon is forced to talk about the beatdown of the Giants at the hands of the Cowboys and you guessed it, Will is already saying it’s the Cowboys year. Cousin Drew offers grade-A insight on the Eagles as always and the show ends with our live reaction to the Aaron Rodgers injury and Matt’s facts. Make sure to subscribe, like, and share the show!
Episode 45: Humble Cow
The humble cow The boys are back to preview the season. We discussed season win totals while the NFC East faces an unrelenting schedule. Can Dak avoid throwing interceptions? Will the Giants regress to the mean? Can Philly match last season’s success after replacing their aging vets with Georgia’s draft class? Will Sam Howell prove that he can power the Commanders on a chicken-only diet? After that, we previewed the upcoming games with a duel of Alabama QBs in Foxboro, a celebration in Landover, and a primetime shootout in East Rutheford. We end the show with Matt’s facts and how we will honor the cow this upcoming season.
Episode 44: A Reason For The Season
The boys are back and, for the first time ever, coming at you with everyone in the room for a quick draft and off-season recap. Chase is kicking back with a cigar and whiskey celebrating Washington’s newfound freedom, while Matt is enjoying the Eagle’s top perch in the league, Brandon is excited about the future of the New York Football Giants and Will is mourning the loss of Cole Beasley while predicting big things from Dak this year. We end the show with a bonus review of Fedex field from Will, and as always we end with Matt’s facts.
Episode 43: Offseason Catch Up
The boys are back! 6S recaps what has happened around the division, big signings, re-signings, and some potential ownership change! The show wraps up with some draft predictions going through each of the East’s five first round picks and what to expect at each of them along with a sprinkling of Boston College football history and gaslighting Jerry Jones! Make sure to rate, comment, subscribe, and share!
Episode 42: A Slippery Defeat
Chase, Will, and Brandon (and Matt?) break down all of the action from Super Bowl Sunday and what this means for the Eagles after a crushing defeat! All of the big plays (and missed calls) are broken down and the takes couldn’t have been hotter! Thank you all for listening for another amazing season in the NFL/NFC East! Episode 41: Cupcakes & Salt Mines
The Eagles are the NFC Champions and have a chance to win their second Super Bowl – all they need to do is beat former Eagles coach and NFL great Andy Reid and star QB Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LVIII. We start today by taking a look at the Eagle’s victory vs the 49ers in a game that was simply weird, and Chase is convinced that 14/16 NFC teams had down years. For a new segment, we put on our safety gear and venture into the salt mines, and wrap up with some general NFC East talk and quick picks on who will win Super Bowl LVII, ending with a special edition of Will’s facts
